About Me
Dr. Kapit received his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia and his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study and Masters in Orthodontics from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. He has over 50 years of clinical private practice experience in conventional orthodontic treatment, dentofacial orthopedics, surgical orthodontics and temporomandibular disorders. With the advent of clear aligner treatment, he is also a certified Invisalign provider. In addition, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Postgraduate Department of Orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kapit is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Dental Association, Florida Association of Orthodontists and its constituent societies. Dr. Kapit is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Kapit is the American Board of Orthodontics Advocate (liason) to Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine Department of Orthodontics.
